What’s the summer like for your business? For many, it’s a slower time and a great opportunity to complete some of those low-hanging tasks that never seem to get done when things are busy.
For others, summer IS when business is booming and they are doing all they can to keep up with demand and make sure that their systems are continuing to be set up for success.

• Google My Business showing competitors Google Posts
In an effort to encourage GMB owners to use the Post feature, Google is now showing some businesses what their competitors are posting.
We are not seeing this yet on our managed accounts, so this could be something Google is slowly rolling out or is only showing to accounts with no recent Posts at all. Are you seeing this new feature?
Currently, only about 5% of businesses are utilizing the Post feature. This is a great opportunity to get more eyes on your business, promote events, increase exposure to your services.
Google My Business: Don’t set it and forget it
This is a great post from LocalU breaking down the importance of keeping up with your Google My Business page. Once you have your page established and optimize, make sure to keep it updated. Add posts. Be on the lookout for new features. Respond to reviews. Read more here.
