Our main challenge was updating an outdated website to better represent Estes Builders as a leader in the custom home-building industry on the Olympic Peninsula. This would need to involve designing a more architecturally aesthetic project portfolio and a clean sitewide information hierarchy.
A modern, intuitive design with plenty of call-to-actions, directing users to get in touch either through form submissions or phone calls. We approached the design with a stronger architectural influence to better align with the industry they serve. We updated their brand and project visuals and established a stronger, SEO-forward site navigation.
The redesigned website strengthens Estes Builders’ industry presence with a clear, user-friendly design that highlights their custom homebuilding approach. Improved navigation makes it easier for users to connect and start projects, driving a 33% increase in leads period over period.
Key features include enhanced transparency through tracked metrics (calls, quotes, and contact submissions) and a dedicated portfolio showcasing past projects and testimonials to build trust. The site is also easy to update, empowering the Estes Builders team to keep it current and relevant.
A more engaging and clear-cut website that better stands out in the industry they serve and highlights their company’s approach to home-building, while also creating clear navigation for users to communicate with Estes Builders and start the home-building process.
While our designer was working on the homepage mockup, the marketing coordinator on the project dove into keyword and competitor research. The Odd Dog team then proposed a thoughtful site architecture, optimized for search engines and user experience.
