Challenges / Goals

Our main challenge was updating an outdated website to better represent Estes Builders as a leader in the custom home building industry within the Olympic Peninsula. While also designing a more architecturally aesthetic project portfolio and clean site wide information hierarchy.

Our Solution

A modern, intuitive design with plenty of Call-to-Actions directing users to get in touch either through form submissions or phone call. We approached the design with more of an architectural influence to better relate to the industry they serve. We updated their brand and project visuals as well as established a stronger SEO forward site navigation.

Our Process

The design process involved research in the custom home building business industry. We used the existing company color themes and branding to create more cohesive site wide visuals. We emphasized the company’s story and values on the homepage, along with project portfolios to create a more engaging landing page. We then focused on creating the internal site pages and custom contact forms with a focus on three main categories, Design, Build and Budget. Using image layering we created depth and more creative portfolios of past projects and featured content. We created clear Call-to-Actions to make communication simple and engaging.

The Result

A more engaging and clear-cut website that better stands out in the industry they serve and highlights their company approach to homebuilding, while also creating clear navigation for users to communicate with Estes Builders and start the home building process. Increase of leads from 80 vs 60 during the same time period.

More transparency created with goals tracked from phone calls, quote requests, and contact submissions.

A place to showcase their work. Past projects and testimonials are a big part of gaining the trust of new customers and they now have the ability to better showcase all the great work that they complete.

The new website is also easy to use. Quick edits to the site for projects make for a more streamlined and user-friendly website to keep up to date and relevant.
