A report highlighted by Search Engine Land last week stated that the new Google Speed update has had no impact on mobile rankings… so far.
During Google Marketing Live last week, Google announced several machine learning initiatives including Local Campaigns which will allow Google to automatically optimize ad delivery across Search, YouTube, Maps and websites and apps in its ad networks.
Tom Waddington put together this great interactive graph that shows which verticals are currently able to use Google Local Service Ads as well as which are being used the most.

Previously, Alexa would pull local business data from Yelp, but as of today, Yext will be submitting local business listings directly to Alexa. The information submitted includes business name, address, phone number, and hours, with additional information to possibly be added at a later time.
