Google announced this weekend that due to the Covid-19 pandemic we are facing, they will be providing limited support for their Google My Business service.
What does limited GMB support mean for you?
Google will be prioritizing support for health-related businesses. This includes approving business information, updates, reviews, reviewing and verifying new listings.
For non-medial related pages, new reviews, review replies and questions and answers are being temporarily shut down, however, there are reports that reviews that only have star ratings (no text) still appear to be working for now.
If you are currently using our Review App and sending out review requests, please know that your customers may not be able to leave a Google review OR may only be able to leave a star rating with no text at this time on your Google My Business listing.
If you are a Pro user and are also collecting reviews on your Yelp, Facebook, TripAdvisor or other sites, you can continue to send requests to those websites.
